Welcome to our family and internal medicine practice!
We are located in Orange, California and have been at the same location for the past 16 years. We are affiliated with many of the local hospital and medical facilities. Our services include primary care medicine such as well checks, physicals, diagnoses, managing chronic illnesses such as hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes; skin procedures, EKG’s, and spirometry, just to name a few! We hope to help you take care of many of your health care needs.
Hours of Operation
- Patient visits: 7:30 am – 5 pm Monday – Friday
- Telephone hours 8-12 pm, 2-5 pm
- Appointments generally available within 24-48 hours with doctor or nurse practitioners
- Appointment hours vary per provider
- Evening hours (Tuesday) Dr. Shimazu
- Closed weekends (Emergency phone triage available after hours)
- Closed on legal holidays (Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day)
Insurance
All doctors accept Medicare assignment, most PPO’s and our providers are contracted with Saint Joseph Hospital Affiliated Physicians and Monarch Independent Physician Association. Dr. Bernhut is contracted with the Gateway Independent Physician Association.
Billing
- Our office accepts: Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card, cash, and check
- Copay is due at time of service
- Statements sent out first week of each month
